The Government's Homebuying Shake-Up Has Arrived. And ProConvey Already Delivers It
The government's June 2026 homebuying reforms — upfront sales packs, digital logbooks, reusable ID, eSignatures and binding agreements — are already l...

Home movers will be verified once at the start of a sale, with their completed checks securely shared with every authorised professional working on that transaction.
Conveyancing technology platform ProConvey and client due diligence platform Thirdfort have expanded their partnership to tackle one of the most persistent frustrations in the home moving process: being asked to prove your identity again and again.
Under the expanded partnership, Thirdfort Identity verification is now embedded within ProConvey's Fast Track Sale for estate agents and conveyancers, completed by the seller at the point their property is listed. Using Thirdfort Secure Share, that completed check is then made available to the conveyancer and other authorised professionals working on the same transaction, with access scoped strictly to the participants in that individual sale.
The expanded partnership means a single, bank-grade digital verification carried out at listing can be relied upon throughout the transaction. Sellers arrive at their conveyancer sale-ready, firms cut duplicated compliance spend, and transactions start faster.
The announcement comes as the Government presses ahead with reforms to the homebuying process, with upfront digital property information and secure data sharing between transaction parties at the centre of its plans. The expanded ProConvey and Thirdfort partnership delivers that model in live transactions today.
ProConvey launched its Fast Track Sale for estate agents earlier this year, bringing together identity verification, title information and material information into a single digital pack prepared at the point of listing. For agents, that means the requirements set out in the Government's homebuying reform announcements are met out of the box: every listing goes to market sale-ready, with verified sellers and upfront property information in place before a buyer is ever found. Rather than preparing for regulation that is coming, agents using Fast Track Sale are already operating the way the reformed market will require.
This builds on the companies' existing partnership, launched in 2024, which integrated Thirdfort’s ID verification and Source of Funds checks into ProConvey's client onboarding workflow for conveyancers. Thirdfort has now verified more than 3 million people on behalf of more than 1,500 regulated firms across property, legal and accountancy.
“Repeat ID checks are one of the most pointless frustrations in moving house. From today, a seller using Fast Track Sale is verified once at listing and that single check is trusted across the whole transaction. It's better for consumers, cheaper for firms, and it delivers the upfront, sale-ready model the Government's reforms demand, live in the market now.”
